In addition, the generally high demands placed on building services systems lead to considerable airborne and structure-borne sound emissions.

Within the official approval procedure, all of these issues must be addressed as a whole, including the protection of neighbours in accordance with ÖAL Guideline No. 3, Sheet 1. The various operating states and operating times of the individual systems, and of delivery and visitor traffic, must also be considered.

We produce extensive simulations and calculations of the traffic situation and of the sound propagation of all building services systems. Using these calculations and the measured results of the local airborne sound immissions, sound insulation concepts are developed in order to meet the official requirements. In the field of airborne and impact sound insulation we also carry out measurements with a dodecahedron loudspeaker and a standard tapping machine and prepare certificates on the existing airborne and impact sound insulation.
