In the recording room the sound should be as natural as possible, so that the recording captures the source material exactly as it really sounds.
In control rooms, by contrast, the room acoustics should influence the sound as little as possible, since otherwise it becomes difficult to judge the recordings correctly through the loudspeakers in the room. Here the reverberation time is the decisive room acoustic parameter, and it should run as linearly as possible across the entire frequency range. ÖNORM B 8115-3 and DIN 18041 define the optimal reverberation times for a wide variety of room sizes and types of use.
To capture the current acoustic situation we carry out measurements for you and present all important room acoustic parameters in the evaluation. Using these values and the geometry of the room, a three-dimensional simulation model is created, into which the optimization measures (e.g. absorbers or reflectors) are then introduced. This allows the optimization of the room acoustics to be calculated precisely, and once the measures have been implemented a verification measurement is carried out.
